The vision of the Women’s Ministry is to love women into a relationship with Jesus Christ by offering opportunities for spiritual growth and service, while developing authentic relationships.

M&M Studies For Women
Originally called "Moms & More", M&M Studies For Women is for women of all ages. M&M meets on Friday mornings from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in Epworth Hall at the North Campus. Sign-ups for the winter session is on January 13. Classes begin January 20. Come join this diverse and fun-loving group. Childcare is provided. Contact Kim Deakins at 966-1537 or by email.
United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women is an organization of women who put mission into work. The two missions we support in Knoxville are Wesley House and Partners for Children.
Included in our projects are:
• Visits to Lakeshore Residents
• Reading to residents at nursing homes
• Caring for one another
• Thanksgiving baskets for Wesley House
• Preparing meals for Virginia Avenue Church on Wednesdays
• Providing gifts for Virginia Avenue Church at Christmas
• Donating money for many missions around the world
United Methodist Women sponsor monthly Circle meetings where they are involved in Bible studies, mission projects and fellowship.
The Circle meetings are:
Martha Circle
• Second Monday of each month
• 10:00 a.m.
• North Campus, Youth Suite
Priscilla Circle
• First Tuesday of each month
• 7:00 p.m.
• Location varies
