The West Campus has been in holding services at Hardin Valley Academy since September '09. We are excited about the things God is doing in the Hardin Valley community and we want you to be a part of it! Every Sunday morning we transform HVA into a huge house of worship complete with childcare, a separate children's worship, refreshments and more. If you have any questions, greeters are ready to assist you.
The worship experience begins at 11:00 a.m. with 20 - 30 minutes of phenominal music. The West Campus band led by Paul Jones is comprised of a virtual "who's who" of Knoxville musicians who not only excell in talent, but feel called to use their gifts to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. Every Sunday is a Christ-centered, joy-filled "Wow!"
Because of the temporary nature of using the HVA facility, there are a few idiosyncracies unique to the West Campus:
Childcare
Our nursery is available at 10:30 a.m. for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old. The nursery is located near the lobby.
Preschool Age Children
Preschool children have a place of their own to learn as they play. Bible stories are shared each week and reinforced with games and craft activities.
Our preschool classes are created based on a child's age (3 as of September 30, 2010 through pre-K) and they must be potty-trained.
Elementary Age Children
We believe that experiencing worship as a family is fundamental to a child's developing faith. Elementary age children will begin their Sunday morning in the auditorium with their families, and at the appropriate time, will head to their own room for Bible teaching ... with some kid-friendly fun thrown in!
Students
In addition to everything that Cokesbury's Student Ministry has going on at the North Campus, HV27:17 is a great Sunday morning option. HV27:17 meets at 9:30 a.m. in the HVA library and is a great time of fun and discussion for middle and high school students.
Coffee & Fellowship
Please come early and enjoy beverages and fellowship in the lobby from 10:30 - until 11:00 a.m.
