No matter the circumstances for ending up in crisis living, everyone deserves an opportunity to get out. CUMC's Hope Trust Team provides an opportunity for people in difficult financial circumstances to make changes in their own lives with the guidance of a "coach" and financial assistance.

Hope Trust Coaches are trained to serve families by making individual assessments, helping the family dream of the life they'd like to have, and then helping the family develop their own plan towards healthy self-sufficiency.

Volunteers need to be able to help with basic budgeting skills. We know there is no quick fix, so volunteers are committed to walk with an individual for a season.

Hope Trust Coaches set appointments with outreach families based on individual availability. Volunteers need to love the Lord and have a willingness to love those in hard situations. The families often need prayer, budgeting help, parenting help, and time management assistance. Resources are available to servants in each of these areas.
